You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted where the law allows, and to withdraw consent you have previously given. This page tells you how, and gives you a form to send us a request.

Your rights, in one place

  • Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete information we no longer need or hold on the basis of your consent.

How we respond We aim to answer every request within one month. In genuinely complex cases we may extend that by up to two further months and will tell you why. There is no charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or repetitive. To protect you, we may need to confirm your identity before we act.

If we have not resolved your concern to your satisfaction, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) at ndpc.gov.ng or by email at info@ndpc.gov.ng. We would appreciate the chance to help first, but you are free to go directly to the Commission at any time.
