A community of believers pursuing hard after God, a sanctuary in the heart of the nation's capital.
Jesus House Abuja was raised up to be a sanctuary in the centre of the nation, a place of worship where the presence of God is the priority, where the Word of God is preached with fire, and where every soul that walks through the doors leaves with an encounter.
From a small gathering in Durumi to a thriving congregation of over a thousand souls today, the journey has been nothing short of grace. Generations have been raised, marriages restored, leaders formed and destinies launched into purpose.
We believe Sunday is the beginning, not the end. Through our cell groups, mid-week formation, School of Disciples and outreach arms, we equip every believer to walk in their calling and reach their world for Christ.
A community where every member knows Christ intimately, walks in purpose powerfully, and impacts the world authentically. A parish that is a beacon of light in Abuja and a launchpad to the nations.
We preach the gospel without compromise, disciple believers into spiritual maturity, plant churches, and serve our community in the love of Christ — until every soul in our city has heard the Name of Jesus.
A soldier of the Cross and a father in the faith, Major General (Rtd.) Pastor Pat Akem-Vingir shepherds this house with grace, discipline, and prophetic authority, leading the congregation in the relentless pursuit of God.
After a distinguished career of service to the nation in the Nigerian Army, he answered the higher call to full-time ministry. His teachings are marked by depth in the Word, a heart for discipleship, and a passion to raise believers who fulfil their God-given destinies. He leads alongside his wife, Pastor Mary Akem-Vingir, in love and unity.
